Storyboards for From Ground to Sky.
Using FireAlpaca I created a series of rough storyboards with dialogue notes to match the timing of music in the film. I edited the rough beats together in Davinci Resolve to get a feel for the pacing of the short film. This took approximately 1 month of studying other films for shot composition inspiration, sketching, and resketching ideas.
Character Designs & Explorations

The lead characters Jingle and Peeb were designed by taking inspiration from various Ghibli films, Instagram artists, and other sources. The turnaround sheets were made in FireAlpaca. I went through an iterative process, getting feedback from my production coordinator to determine the most friendly design as well as which one had the right amount of detail for the scope of work. Their designs took around 4 days to finalize.

Environment Concept Art
These digitally painted test pieces were color studies to determine what the color script for the final product would be. They were created in FireAlpaca over the course of 1 week.

Storyboards for Mountain Boy
Following the same methods as the storyboard process for From Ground to Sky I made the boards and animatic for Mountain Boy in 5 hours.
